Bank alerts are recognised by the bank's address and by subject words (Settings › Banks › the bank). Each email is read once, however Gmail or another provider groups it into conversations.
- Emails read (Recent receipts) lists every email as one short line, grouped by day: the time, the bank, the result and a few words (the amount and the payer). The results are Added, Already listed, Money out, Not read, Unknown sender (+ Add address sits on the line), Not genuine (the signature did not check out) and Not a bank alert. Tap a line for the subject, the address and the full reason. The ↻ button (Read again) re-reads one after you changed the bank's labels.
- A payment suggested for an order shows four boxes side by side: Received, Due, Discount and Left to pay (amber while something is left, “✓ Rs 0” when the order is paid in full). The button says Confirm, or Confirm part when something is left. Pick or split shares one payment over several orders, with the same four boxes for each.
- Money out keeps transfers that left your account, with the payee. Tag them (refund, supplier, courier, salary...).
- Every check also reads the last few days again (Settings › Banks › Mailbox), so an alert missed once is picked up the next time. To read further back once, use Look back there.
TipThe surest way is your own forwarding address: see Forwarding address for bank alerts.
