Courier city lists: "every city on its list"

For admins

Let a courier take every city it delivers to, from its own city list, without typing them.

Many couriers keep a list of the cities they deliver to. The platform keeps one copy of each list, shared by every store, so you do not have to type them:

  • PostEx and couriers with an API fill their list by themselves, at most once a day.
  • For couriers without an API, the platform owner uploads the courier's coverage list.

We never add a city to a courier's list ourselves: a city is on it only when the courier says so.

Using a courier's list

  1. Open Settings › Couriers › Couriers by city.
  2. Under the courier, choose every city on its list. The choice shows how many cities the list has and when it was updated. It is only there when the courier has a list.
  3. Add any exceptions: cities on its list that should not go to this courier.
  4. Press Save.

When a city is covered by more than one courier, the more specific choice wins: only these cities first, then every city on its list, then all cities except these. So PostEx: every city on its list; TCS: only Karachi, Hyderabad sends Karachi and Hyderabad with TCS and the rest of PostEx's cities with PostEx.

The cities we know

The city list on the page is PostEx's list, your couriers' lists and our own list of Pakistani cities and towns. A city is counted once however it is spelled: "D.G. Khan", "DG Khan" and "Dera Ghazi Khan" are the same city. Rules you saved before keep working as they did.

TipA city missing from a courier's list? Ask the courier for its current coverage list and send it to support, so the list can be updated for everyone.
