Bulk lists, backups and batches

Upload a whole list at once, restore a backup, and fix or remove a batch. Needs the "Upload Files" permission.

Upload a list

Have a plain text file with one order number per line? Use Bulk Upload Order Lists on the dashboard: choose the file, set the date the parcels actually left or came back, and press Upload. Each list becomes one batch.

Bulk Upload: one file for returns, one for dispatches.

Under each file box, Or choose from your Files lets you take the list from your Files instead of your computer.

The two upload boxes are coloured like the Log buttons: Dispatch is green and sits first (left on a computer, on top on a phone), Return is red and second.

The pickup slip or return receipt photo is optional. Whether the Log page asks "No receipt photo attached, continue?" is chosen per courier in its setup (Orders tab › Receipt photos): never ask (the usual) or ask me if no photo is attached. This applies to a bulk dispatch too.

Restore from a backup

Restore from Backup takes many files at once, named like dispatch-2026-08-01.txt or return-2026-09-08.txt (the files inside a "Download Selected (.zip)" backup). The date comes from each file name. Files that are identical to an existing batch are skipped.

Restore from Backup: select all the .txt files from the zip.
TipIf the first files all fail with the same message, the restore stops and shows that message instead of sending the rest.

See and fix batches

Uploaded Files & Batches lists every scan, list and report with who added it and when. Press View Batches, then open one to add or remove orders, or tick several and download them as a backup zip.

Deleting several batches is done one batch after another, with a counter (Deleting 7 of 20), and the orders are recounted at the end. If it stops half way, the batches already deleted are fully deleted and the others are untouched, so the orders always agree with the batches that are left. Press Delete again to carry on.

Orders you add to a batch later take the batch's own day, not the day you add them: add two orders on the 25th to the batch of the 23rd and they count on the 23rd, in the calendar and in each order's history. (Before v90.3 they were stamped with the day of adding, so the calendar showed dispatches on a day when nothing was logged. Orders added that way earlier stay as they are; to fix one, remove it from the batch and add it again.)

Every batch with its type, who added it and how many orders it holds.

A batch with the wrong courier

The Courier column shows which courier a batch was logged for, in the list and in the calendar's day list. Set appears when no courier is stored; Change appears when one is, for people who may edit batches. Press it, choose the right courier, then confirm. The box Also change the orders of this batch moves the orders that show the old courier (or none) with the batch; orders that belong to another courier are never touched. Untick it to change only the batch's label. Every order whose courier really changes gets a comment.

Changing a batch's courier: the confirm step says exactly what will move.

Courier reports (CPRs)

Upload CPR (shipment report) takes the courier's report of delivered and returned parcels (.csv or .xlsx), such as PostEx's weekly CPR. Set the Report date, the day the CPR is for (empty means today).

  • It is saved as "CPR" and that date, for example CPR 14 Oct 2026 (a second one for the same day becomes CPR 14 Oct 2026 (2)). The calendar marks that day, and the file's own name is kept with it. CPRs uploaded before v80 were renamed the same way.
  • Each line finds its order by the order number when the tracker or your shop knows it, otherwise by its tracking number (booked here, logged here, or booked by another app).
  • Uploading an updated file again refreshes the rows.
  • PostEx CPRs can be built for you, with nothing to download: Automatic CPR from PostEx.
  • Analyse CPR reports shows how each courier delivers, province by province and city by city.
